If you didn’t know, Active Jet Sport is based in Canada, which means that anything you purchase from us is technically an import for you. On August 29th, an executive order signed by President Trump, will remove a long-standing import rule which gave you the freedom to cross-border shop without additional fees. When this executive order comes into effect, anything you purchase from outside of the US, this includes us, will be subject to duties/tariffs/brokerage/taxes and other fees when you receive it. This means you’ll have to pay those charges to your government before your package is delivered to you.

Due to this executive order, we have decided to stop taking orders from US customers as of 2pm EST August 27th, which gives any pending orders 2 days to get to customers unaffected. We’re taking this drastic step to protect you from charges you didn’t expect when you placed your order, and ourselves from rejected packages due to these fees.

There’s still a chance this executive order will get reversed before it goes into effect or at a later date. We hope it does so we can continue serving our friends to the south.
